Total Immersion Program SAMPLE Daily Schedule
MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY
Classes begin weekly year round, study as many weeks as you choose
8:50 to 10:10	Your class begins with Spanish structure with interactive lessons, more about our methods
10:10 to 10:20	Short Break
10:20 to 11:40	continuation of your morning session
11:40 to noon	Break - enjoy our cafeteria
noon to 1:50	Conversation workshop or content courses.
Description: The daily classes are divided into six parts. The morning modules are Spanish language structure, consisting of a brief review of the day before, new material and interactive practice. Classes are taught with a communicative approach in small and homogeneous groups, of no more than five students. In the afternoon, students will have a conversation workshop or, for high-intermediate levels and above, they may choose instead a content course to help improve listening skills. Content courses include topics such as history, Latin America culture & civilization, and literature. During the conversation workshops, students will also have opportunities for reading, writing, and Friday cultural outings.
Specialized Courses only noon to 1:50	Private session begins if you have chosen a Semi-Private Professional Course such as Legal Spanish, Medical Spanish, Legal Spanish, Spanish for Social Workers, or other topic. Service Learning program may begin volunteer opportunity at this time.
Optional To Student (included in your tuition fee)
1:55 to 2:35	20 Minute Tutoring Sessions with a teacher one-on-one. Sign up in the morning for teacher of your choice, excludes Fridays.
1:55 to 2:35	Lectures, guest speakers, music and songs, excursion orientation, Mexican stories, & more. Includes topics of interest to the Young at Heart Workshops for teachers and educators (Tues & Thurs)
1:55 to 2:35	Taller Bilingue - In a group setting a teacher will explain a different Spanish grammatical point. For all students who feel they would benefit. Tuesday and Thursday.
2:35 to >>	Return to your host family for the mid-day meal. If you are not staying with a host family, there are many restaurants in Cuernavaca.
5:00 to 7:00	Activities including cooking class, Latin dance lessons, arts & crafts, movies, etc. Small materials fee may apply.
Weekends
Saturday	Excursions such as Museo Nacional de Antropologia, Taxco, Teotihuacan, Centro Historico Mexico City, or others. Fee required. School campus and swimming pool are open from 9 am to 2 pm ~ as well as until 8pm on weekdays
Sunday	Free day to do what you like! Plus during summer more full day excursions.
