PEER GROUP CLASSES
We at Instituto Chac-Mool offer an affordable, tailored program designed to develop your Spanish language fluency in the shortest
time possible.
Both in Cuernavaca and Tulum, new Peer Group Spanish courses begin every Monday throughout the year although mid-week starts
can also be arranged. You choose how many weeks to study based on your language goals. Classes begin at 8:50 am in Cuernavaca or 8:00 am in Tulum Monday through Friday
and you'll study for 25 hours per week.
Our placement director will provide a brief written, auditory and oral placement test and the results will determine which
class you will join. Your class size is a maximum of 6 students, although typically smaller.
Our program offers many different Spanish levels including very beginning to highly advanced.
In the event that only one student is qualified for a peer group level, your class length may be shortened, if agreed.
Many of our students are traveling alone, however we welcome families and groups to Instituto Chac-Mool. You'll have plenty of
opportunity to get together with all students, not just those of your peer group level.
This is a full immersion program, even beginning students will find this immersion the most effective way to acquire the Spanish language.
Instructional theory and conditions of learning will be taken into account so that the student maximizes their learning
potential.

FOR ALL STUDENTS:
...Latin dance lessons, such as Salsa, and Mexican cooking classes.
...Tourist services, wireless internet (we do not provide a computer), a swimming pool in Cuernavaca, bike rental in Tulum.
FREE OF CHARGE - UPON REQUEST:
...One-on-One Tutoring for a twenty minute session offered four times a week after your Peer Group class ends.
...Taller Bilingüe: In a group setting a teacher will explain a different Spanish grammatical point.
...Lectures in the afternoons with guest speakers, music, folklore, excursion orientation, & more. Our registration form asks your particular interests.
...Teachers and educator's workshops designed to enhance a teacher's ability to understand and to work effectively with Spanish-speaking students and their families - Cuernavaca only, advance request required.
